The Rock 'n' Roll 70 was created by Gillian Wearing in 2015, this portrait was one of many on the wall. When you first walk into the building the artwork is on the right covering an entire wall, there are a series of photos which contains about on hundred portraits.
Alone, the portrait has lines because you can see the detailed lines on her face. There's texture in the portrait because it is extremely sharp and clear. Even though the photograph is flat, the subject appears in the foreground and she stands out because of the dark gray background.
With the entire art work, there is unity between all the photos because they are all natural colored, dull, and the lighting. There is also variety because all the different photos, but they all are connected because they are equally balanced in terms of color.
